Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) is an approach that addresses issues of Sexual and Reproductive Healh (SRH) with a focus on Human Rights. However, thie term is sensitive as just few people know the impact and value of this educational approach that addresses sexuality in a healthy and responsible way.

Empowering everyone of accurate and comprehensive SHR information is a right. It’s in this context that Project Safidy of SEED Madagascar works in close collaboration with the Ministry of National Education and Technical and Vocational Education (MENETP) in developing the new school curriculum intergrating SRHR. The new program for « Seconde Classes » was piloted in 214 Lycées during the 2018-2019 school year. Of these 214 schools, 42 took part in Monitoring and Evaluation activities. The new « Première Classes » curriculum was validated by the National Validation Commission on Wednesday October 1, 2019. This new program for the « Première Classes » will be piloted during the 2019-2020 school year in the same Lycées as the Seconde’s.
